About Me
I've always been drawn to figuring out how things work. I started working on cars in high school, and that hands-on curiosity eventually grew into an interest in both software and the systems around it. I became an Eagle Scout, then studied Software Engineering with a minor in Geotechnology at Idaho State University, graduating in spring 2026.
At ISU, I tutored and graded computer science courses, led the Association for Computing Machinists, and worked as a geotechnology research assistant helping move legacy ArcMap projects to ArcGIS Pro. Those experiences gave me a chance to work across disciplines, explain technical ideas, and make progress when project requirements were still taking shape.
These days, my technical consulting work ranges from recovering data and setting up local services to supporting WordPress sites. I especially enjoy projects that connect software with the physical world, whether that's an augmented reality sandbox or the network and storage systems in my homelab.
